Birth Support

The birth room is a sacred space that should be assisted on your and your baby’s terms. It's also an equally mental and emotional experience, as it is physical. VIDA on your birth team means you'll be encouraged to find your most centered self throughout pregnancy + labor with unwavering support and advocacy. Whether that's being embraced in your loved ones' arms or not touched at all, holding crystals for intentional energy, bumping to reggaeton or listening to peaceful waterfalls, and anything else on the spectrum of rooting into yourself to find your inner power. I meet you where you're at on your journey, and aim to be a grounding voice/hand to keep returning to your center and help maintain a coping mindset throughout labor and all its uncertanties.

I focus on guiding the individual's self mastery and combining it with my expertise in progressing labor for a physiologic birth. Balancing my intuition, with learned wisdom in modalities such as body balancing (Spinning Babies®), rebozo work, herbology, meditation + visualization amongst others to compliment your natural strength and assist any expecting partners to fulfill the primary support role.

As a full spectrum doula I feel passionately about supporting all stages of your reproductive journey. Please reach out if you’re interested in fertility support, abortion/termination support, miscarriage/loss support, and postpartum support.

Includes:

  • 24/7 on call availability beginning at 38+ weeks for continuous in-person labor support

  • At least two in-person prenatal visits (two hours each), but preferred monthly if we both have the availability so we can develop a closer intimacy/trust before birth

  • Unlimited text/phone support throughout pregnancy

  • individualized education and guidance as needed

  • assistance in creating written birth preferences

  • immediate postpartum support, including initiating chest/breast feeding if desired

  • Eight hours of additional post partum support (can be split into two 4hr appts)

  • Placenta encapsulation for post-partum wellness, delivered at postpartum visit
